This week’s cheat sheet to shopping local—all online

Each week, our team shares all the crazy cool spots they’ve discovered around Seattle—all without leaving home. Here’s some of the small shops and local businesses that are easy to support from the comfort of your couch.

The chic Seattle shop blaksands is full of thoughtfully curated vintage pieces, sustainable clothing, home goods and wellness accessories. Plus, the shop even sells stylish masks, while also donating masks to local places in need.

UPDATE 4/15: these color ways are OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT. Masks are in production and once they are ready we’ll keep shipping to you. Plus we are proud to announce that our donated masks will be headed to the Ballard PCC (thanks Emma!) to help those essential workers who stock yummy food to our neighborhood! Now on the hunt for more fabric so we can keep making these. Original post: We’ve reopened pre-orders but I see many of you already found the link! Quantities are super limited and this will be our last round of these fabrics. For each mask you buy we donate one to an essential worker! In keeping in alignment with our sustainable vision - these masks are made from 100% cotton bedding and/or fabric and are fully washable and biodegradable once they are totally worn out. We hope these cute and cozy masks will keep you safe out there for as long as you need them! All orders of $35+ ship free - masks are FINAL SALE Update : I am picking up our first batch of preorders from last week and will ship those out today. More shipping out this weekend and orders from THIS week to ship in 1-2 weeks. THANK YOU SO MUCH! We are excited to protect you and our essential workers and provide a job to a lovely seamstress making these to order for you. We appreciate your patience! PS if you have more fabric for use - send me a DM! xo - Michelle
